Now...camera supports are not camera stabilisers.
While they can help stabilse your shots, they don’t work the same as a dedicated stabilser.
A camera support is designed to help take the fatigue out of hand holding a camera all day. They are a comfort device. Some have a stabilising feature built in which does help smooth out shots, while some do not.
