Be sure to know the difference between a stabiliser and a support is when looking around.
A stabiliser smoothes out camera shake while you move about freely, whereas a support simply provides a more stable way to hand-hold the camera. Although supports can sometimes provide a degree of stability, they are not designed to move like stabilisers.
